Disclaimer: I'm a dedicated full face helmet guy who wears only Shoei and Arai on the street, and I bought this helmet to wear exclusively when working on slow speed drills in parking lots. I live in the coastal southeast where it gets oppressively hot and humid, so the Badass Rocker drew my attention as a great alternative to full face solely for this purpose. The quality is great, as is the comfort and the look. The "no mushroom head" is a common refrain, and it's true. The assembly and care that is put into this helmet is readily apparent, and it's comfortable while simultaneously feeling substantial. The straps, fitment around the ears and noggin are spot-on if you follow the size guide, and I feel safe if I were to have a spill doing slow speed work. Most impressive, was Dominick himself. Lisa, COO at Badass put me in contact with him, and he's a first rate ambassador for the brand. He never tried to sell me on the helmet; instead, he took the time to knowledgeably answer my questions about how to care for it/clean it/etc., and affirm my size based on the measurements I gave him. So, if you're a diehard half helmet person, or just shopping for your first half helmet, your search really should start and stop with Badass. It's easily the best looking on the market (again, if you're truly anti "mushroom head"), and it's supremely comfortable and well made. If you're looking for a vendor who sells Badass, Dominick is your guy. Don't waste your time dealing with hucksters or halfass products; buy from a bona fide fellow motorcycle enthusiast who cares about the products he puts into the marketplace.
